Three Cherry Blend

The bing and Rainer cherries are washed, de-stemmed and pitted, then carefully laid on redwood drying trays, sulfured (for color retention and as a preservative), and laid in the California sun to dry. The cherries are removed from the trays, rewashed, sorted, packaged, and stored. The cherries used are grown locally in the California San Joaquin Valley and the sun drying process locks in the intense fruit flavors. The tart cherries are prepared from sound properly ripen fruit which is de-stemmed, pitted, and infused with sugar and dried to a specific moisture range washed and packaged. The three varieties are blended together. Inspected and packaged.
